Rami Al Ali '23: Silhouettes are Victorian, decadent, rich but more relevant to today’s style

Dubai-based Syrian designer Rami Al Ali has launched his first bridal couture collection after the Covid-19 pandemic. The collection combines silks, satins, and tulles with the designer’s signature embroidery, featuring seven timeless pieces highlighting modern romance and old-school glamour.

“It’s an evaluation of the past collection. We mastered certain techniques and gave stronger results,” explains Al Ali.

“Our structured architected shapes are lighter, more in control, and practical. Our embroidery follows classic methods but with a new modern spirit.

Silhouettes are Victorian, decadent, rich but more relevant to today’s style and taste.”
